What is a good cheap place to get silk scarves?

Preferably in London. The type you can tie a whole bunch together then pull out of someones mouth (if you are a magician)

try the retro/vintage shops around brick lane- i cant remeber the names of all of them but there are quite a few one called beyond retro springs to mind- you will definitely find some in there. hope this helps x

China town is a good answer.

another mkt to try is Spitafields (near Liverpool St – Sundays).

Otherwise, if you want bigger – Tie Rack and in fact John Lewis sells long thin ones that crumple up small and aren’t too pricey (for silk)
