Can I handwash a silk scarf? Have you done this – is it was ok?

I have recently purchased a vintage square silk scarf from Ebay. It was originally from libertys in London but has no label stating how to wash. Does anyone own one? Can I gently handwash it & will it be ok? Have you / or does anyone care for their silk scarfs this way to clean them? Thanks for your help!

Yes you can handwash it but be very gentle….use a less detergent….you could also try a frebreeze re freshener if your trying to clean it
