Summer, winter? As an accessory?
Scarves tied around the neck are the newest necklace! I personally like the looks for a small scarf tied around the neck. It adds glamour and chic sophistication to a business suit (w/short skirt),It looks very feminine, but is a totally different look than a necklace. Needless to say, hair must be tied back (of course, with a small strand with a curled end pulled out at the front).

I have a pretty winter scarf. Knitted purple, pink, and lavendar. No don't do silk scarves though. I just don't think they fit my style or I don't know how to wear them like I see in the movies.

I have one Burberry "scarf" as a gift from my old pen pal, but I hardly to put on, because looks toooooooo old!

a lacy one……..sometimes at night …..for a brief moment……..just the scarf, and only the scarf

Yes, I always match one especially to my suits….I use silk ones smaller in size for the summer, and nice cashmere or woven ones for the winter. I have a dark brown that's rabit fur, and another that goes with a leather jacket.

Yes I use them to hook up a bad hair day w/ some cute earrings, I sometimes tie one to my purse, or pull it through my front belt loop to give an effect of a belt. I have also worn it with a cute low top with a blazer and some jeans. But right now this very momment it's keeping my hair down.
Suffice 2 say they have many uses.
